I am a graduate librarian by training and writer by choice. I have been writing since my early twenties and with the additional training in research methods, have had close to one-hundred articles and essays published during the ensuing years. During my life time I have been an entrepreneur, insurance agent, literary agent, office manager, real estate broker and investor, and teacher about the business of writing.

My community service has included volunteering at the Art Gallery and Exhibit Hall at Tohono Chul Park, a 49-acre natural habitat for flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert in Pima County, AZ.

My primary expertise is in consumer affairs, the environment, politics, book, magazine and newspaper publishing, although I write on many other topics. My last assignment was writing environmental columns for the now defunct Neighborhood America e-magazine. I am a Featured Writer for Reading and Literature-Self Help at Suite 101.com and a member of the Society of Environmental Journalists.
